24 Day 8: Hour 1 (04:00:00-05:00:00pm) Spoilers and Summary

I was pretty excited to sit down for 24 Day 8 hour 1 (04:00:00-05:00:00pm).

I took Day 7 off after being bored by days 5 and 6, but I figured moving the show to NYC might interest me, so I could nitpick if Jack got from say Yankee Stadium to Coney Island in 8 minutes.

This one has some good things going for it:
- New York
- "Aceveda" from The Shield
- and "Starbuck" from Galactica

However, the creators of "24" are content to hand in the same old same old.

Jack's daughter is back, because we all love her and need her to be in the show.
CTU is now run by a guy who thinks Jack is a maniac/loon
Chloe is on the rag and insane
there are "middle eastern" bad guys
there are shady people in the government close to the President.

Hour 1 did nothing for me.  Same old, same old.  Let's get Katee Sackhoff in there a little more.
