I am surprised I don't spit on images of George Lucas when I watch Clone Wars.
It's not great, but it is disposable entertainment. Nice self-contained half hours that do nothing to advance the overall storyline.
Yes it sucks that you know who will live and die.
Anakin Skywalker is an awful character. You can't root for him because (a) the character is annoying and (b) you know what happens to him. Anakin's arc is so bad it even ruins the original trilogy. Suddenly Vader isn't scary, he's just a whiny teenager who lost his girlfriend.
It will be nice to see if there are more than 2 planets in this universe. It will be nice if everything doesn't revolve around people named Skywalker.
That being said - it's got watchability. I don't need a DVD, but it's watchable, which is more than you can say for Phantom Menace.
